Steel and Tube Manufacturing : ISMT’s steel and tube manufacturing facilities are amongst the finest in the world. All our steel is melted in-house in an electric arc furnace, ladle refined, vacuum degassed, continuous cast and rolled. Our seamless tubes are rolled in a modern PQF mill and then either cold drawn or cold-pilgered and if required heat treated. We produce engineering steels and seamless tubes for the most demanding applications in the Powergen, Auto, Mining, Drilling, Bearing industries.  

Machining and Forming Facilities : IPP has its own machining facility comprising the latest CNC turning machines, sophisticated cold ring rolling machines and swaging machines. Apart from this, ISMT has access to manufacturing partners with:

  • CNC Turn Mill Centers
  • Universal Grinders
  • Horizontal Machining Centers (capable of handling jobs of 500mm diameter and 4 meter in length.)
  • Vertical Machining Centers


 

Inspection Facilities : Our inspection equipment includes:

  • CMM (2m X 2m table size)
  • Portable CMM (1m X 2m)
