Vasundhara, the international film festival that showcases films with an environmental conscience, is now a movement of its own. With quality films, presentations, talks and allied activities, all of which build the case for activist environmentalism, KVIFF is our attempt to reorient our minds and influence the policies of our country.

We, at Kirloskar Oil Engines, recognise that good health is fundamental to strong communities. Through our healthcare initiatives, we focus on improving access to preventive care, increasing health awareness and supporting individuals who may have limited access to essential medical services.
With a special focus on women, children and vulnerable groups, our programmes support early detection, informed health practices and stronger community well-being.
Community Health Check-Up Camps
Access to basic healthcare services is essential for maintaining healthy communities. Through our health check-up camps, we bring qualified medical professionals directly to schools and communities where medical support may not always be easily accessible. These camps provide comprehensive health screenings, helping identify potential health concerns at an early stage and enabling timely treatment. So far, we have reached more than 2,100 schoolchildren and women, providing medical consultations, basic diagnostics and health guidance.
Alongside screenings, we also promote awareness around hygiene, nutrition and preventive healthcare practices. By encouraging early diagnosis and regular health monitoring, we help foster a stronger culture of preventive health within the community. Through these initiatives, we continue to ensure that essential healthcare support reaches those who need it most.
Pre-Cancer Screening and HPV Vaccination
Early detection and prevention are key to reducing the risks associated with cancer. Through our pre-cancer screening camps and HPV vaccination programmes, we focus on improving access to preventive healthcare for adolescent girls and women.
These initiatives help identify potential health risks at an early stage while encouraging informed health practices within communities. As part of this effort, we have administered HPV vaccinations to adolescent girls, to help protect them against cervical cancer and support their long-term wellbeing.
By promoting awareness, screening and vaccination, we encourage communities to take proactive steps toward better health.
