Chief Financial Officer - Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL)

As CFO at KOEL, Sachin is responsible for shaping the financial and strategic direction of the organization. He leads capital allocation, enterprise-wide performance management, investor engagement, and strategic initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and investments. He also stewards governance, compliance, and risk management, ensuring resilience and long-term value creation. His focus on disciplined execution, cost leadership, and value-based pricing has contributed to margin expansion and improved returns. Under his leadership, the organization has built a culture of financial discipline, accelerated cash conversion, and strengthened risk oversight. 

Prior to KOEL, Sachin has held senior leadership roles at Cummins India as Finance Director for the Supply Chain Organization, and at IFB Industries as Head of Internal Audit. He began his career with Ernst & Young LLP in Risk Advisory Services.  

A Chartered Accountant with an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai, Sachin brings over 20 years of leadership experience in finance, strategy, and business transformation. He is known for his commitment to excellence in combining financial rigor with strategic vision to drive sustainable, and profitable growth. 

Deeply committed to building high-performance teams and fostering collaboration across functions to unlock organizational potential, he has led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, subsequently modernizing the finance function through shared services, digitalization, and automation. This has also enabled scalability and sharper decision-making towards enhanced value creation for all the stakeholders.  

An avid reader, Sachin is fond of travelling, and playing sports like badminton, swimming and golf.
